Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony Conclude 53rd Season

GREENWICH, CT – The Chambers Players of the Greenwich Symphony conclude their 53rd season: Monday, April 14, 7:30pm at Greenwich Historical Society, Vanderbilt Education Center, 47 Strickland Road, Cos Cob.
On the program are Madeline Dring’s Trio for Flute, Oboe & Piano, August Klughardt’s Fünf Schilflieder for Oboe, Viola & Piano, Arrival Platform Humlet for Solo Viola, by Percy Grainger, Philippe Gaubert’s Soir Païen for Voice, Flute & Piano, Three Songs for Voice, Viola & Piano by Frank Bridge, and selected songs from the Cos Cob Song Volume.
The musicians for this performance include Susan Rotholz on flute, David Creswell on viola, Diane Lesser on oboe, Andrew Gordon on piano, and guest artist Caroline Worra, soprano. Dr. Worra is a Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich.
Complimentary “Wine and Cheese” receptions will be held during intermission of the Monday performance, offering an opportunity to chat and mingle with the chamber musicians and friends.
