Connecticut Ballet Dance Exposure Scholarship Auditions
Connecticut Ballet , official school of Connecticut Ballet, has announced additional scholarship opportunities for talented Stamford youngsters seeking foundational dance training. With support from the Stamford Rotary, Gen Re, Geneve Foundation and others, Connecticut Ballet’s Dance Exposure Project will provide scholarships for up to ten students entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grades for the 2025-2026 school year.
Artistic Director Brett Raphael announced that parents may bring interested boys and girls to a tryout audition on Thursday, September 4th at 4:30pm at Connecticut Ballet Center, 20 Acosta Street, Stamford. CBC staff assess their talent and will then discuss scholarship terms and possible performance opportunities in the upcoming production of 'The Nutcracker.' After-school or weekend classes begin the week of September 8th. Bilingual translation will be available.
Connecticut Ballet has provided over 2500 training scholarships to young people and performed educational assemblies for over 250,000 students across Connecticut since 1991.
