Connecting Moments: An artist’s discovery of beauty and inspiration in his mother’s Alzheimer’s.

Connecting Moments features new art work by Nat Connacher inspired by his time spent with his mother, as Alzheimer’s fragmented her memory. His paintings are stunning abstractions that reconfigure these memories into single visual stories of vibrancy and emotion. Through this journey, Nat has deepened his appreciation of the way change – even unwelcome – can bring beauty and inspiration to a relationship darkening with dementia.
The show is in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Association – CT Chapter, to increase public awareness of their valuable resources available to those with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, and how you can join the fight to make a difference. The Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting information sessions during the show and will announce plans for their 2025 Fairfield County Walk to END Alzheimer’s event.
