Join us for a celebration of an unsung African American hero, Gilbert “Gil” Hernandez Black. Presented by Andreyah Maria Hernandez Black, Gil Black’s daughter, Ms. Black will share the story of her father’s life as a teenager who loved baseball, to a father, and eventually a professional baseball player.
