Open VISIONS Forum - The Lafayette National Symposium
Lafayette and the Enduring Struggle for Human Rights and Democratic Governments
Join the American Friends of Lafayette for a day-long symposium on the Marquis de La Fayette, the French nobleman who joined the American revolutionary cause. As we approach the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation, this symposium aims to foster and promote personal connections by way of continual research into the history that began with the American War of Independence, and includes documents and discoveries past and present that shed more light on the life of this French visionary leader.
Presented with American Friends of Lafayette Symposium, the Fairfield University Office of the President, Department of History, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
