Rosies of World War II - Hybrid Lecture

In celebration of Women's History Month, learn about real "Rosie the Riveters" during World War II in New England and in Weston on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2pm. This event is hybrid. Join us in person at the Weston History & Culture Center at 104 Weston Road in Weston, CT or attend via ZOOM.

Park Ranger Susan Ashman of the Springfield Armory National Historic Site will join us via ZOOM and will give a talk about Soldiers of Production: Women Ordnance Workers at Springfield Armory.
Samantha Fargione, Executive Director of the Weston History & Culture Center will talk in person about Weston's Rosies. They might not have been working in factories, but contributed to the war effort in meaningful ways.
