SilverSource Inspiring Lives Luncheon with Delia Ephron
The Inspiring Lives Luncheon gathers the community to celebrate an inspirational community leader and to raise awareness and funds for seniors in need. The event will be held at Woodway Country Club in Darien on Thursday, May 15 and honor bestselling author, screenwriter and playwright Delia Ephron.
We look forward to Delia Ephron inspiring us with her story of resilience in overcoming the challenges of illness and loss yet still being open to new beginnings in love and in life. Ephron’s talent, accomplishments, and enduring commitment to life, love and her craft are truly inspiring. Her remarkable determination to “go for it” no matter what life dishes out – compellingly and hilariously chronicled in her memoir Left on Tenth and its recent Broadway adaptation – serves as a powerful example of embracing second chances.
NY Mets Announcer Colin Cosell will serve as the event's emcee.
All proceeds benefit SilverSource, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit agency that provides a safety net for seniors in need to keep a roof over their heads, with the heat and lights on, food on the table and the medical care they need.
