Souvenirs Romantiques with Violinist Hana Mundiya and Pianist Eri Kang (FREE)

Fresh off of her Connecticut debut earlier this year, violinist Hana Mundiya makes a return appearance by popular demand, this time presented by Stamford-based music education nonprofit INTEMPO. Praised for her “violin pyrotechnics” (BBC Music Magazine), Hana made her solo debut with the New York Philharmonic at age 13 and has won top prizes in the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria, the Leopold Mozart International Violin Competition in Germany, the Kosciuszko Foundation Wieniawski Competition, and the Hudson Valley Competition in New York. She will be joined by pianist Eri Kang, a soloist, collaborative pianist and chamber musician who has appeared frequently in major concert halls in New York City and across the world. Together, they will present some of the most beloved works in the Western classical music repertoire.
At 3PM, Hana will present a masterclass for students from INTEMPO Music School and the Norwalk Youth Symphony, followed by her recital at 4:30PM. Both events are free and open to the public; however, advance registration is required.
