About Troy Amuso & Troy Fine Art Services
Troy Amuso entered the world of art restoration in 1977 as a studio apprentice in southern Westchester County, NY, under the highly respected Dutch art conservator, Yan Vanderviver. This unique opportunity sparked Troy’s passion for the craft of art conservation, setting him on a path toward an unyielding career in fine art oil painting conservation.
From 1977 to 1995, Troy held studio positions in New York, Connecticut, and Los Angeles, specializing in the preservation of fine art. Over the years, he earned a respected reputation among collectors, galleries, and private museums across the Northeast and West Coast.
In 1996, Troy and his wife, Denise DiGrigoli, founded Troy Fine Art Services, an art conservation studio dedicated to providing exceptional personal attention to each client and painting. Their studios are in Sheffield/Ashley Falls, MA, and Fairfield, CT. Serving New England and points beyond.
