Norwalk Symphony Presents “An Evening with The Virtuosi”

Featuring Arturo Delmoni performing on a J.B. Guadagnini violin, 1780; Kenneth Kuo performing on a Mateo Goffriller cello, 1700; and the Symphony’s Music Director and Conductor Jonathan Yates on piano. Ken’s cello was crafted when Handel, whose Passacaglia Arturo and Ken are playing, was only 15 years old... and Arturo’s violin was built almost 30 years before Mendelssohn, whose trio our three musicians are playing, was even born! There will also be a special viewing and demo of a violin made in Norwalk by Frank Sklenarik in 1936.
