Description

Many buildings and structures that we experience daily embody stories of benchmark events, movements and people important in Stamford’s history. The presentation will look at a sample of historic places and what they tell us about the past 250 years of local history on the eve of the next year's national celebration of the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Wes Haynes is a Stamford native and resident who recently retired from a 45 year career as an architectural historian and historic preservation specialist in the tri-state area. He currently serves on the boards of the Merritt Parkway Conservancy, Emerson Hall Foundation at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, and Adirondack Architectural heritage in upstate New York.

$30 admission for members, $35 for non-members. Refreshments will be served sponsored by First County Bank and Palmer's Market in Darien, Connecticut.

Since the Tea is a wildly popular event we are limiting tickets to 32 and tickets are only available via Zeffy.
